I can set the time zone in tzconfig, but it does not show in osso-clock. Arizona doesn't have daylight saving and when I select MST it throws the time zones out of wack during MDT is there any way to have the osso-clock update from tzconfig or to enable time zones in osso-clock? I noticed that US/Arizona is listed in zoneinfo but not in the cock application
Assigning to utilities (clock)
Hi xopher, can you provide me a step-by-step description so I can try to reproduce this? Thanks in advance!
It is currently impossible to set the correct time in Arizona, hence I'd recommend adding Phoenix (Arizona's largest city and capital) to tzdata of the device. According to http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/ , "Daylight Saving Time, for the U.S. and its territories, is NOT observed in (...) the state of Arizona". Same said by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_by_time_zone - it's a timezone on its own.
I can confirm this bug, it is very annoying
As per the first comment - Arizona is there in the tzdata, but Arizona is not supported by the Clock app (can't be selected as a Home City). Again, as per the first comment, why doesn't the Clock app support all of the cities/regions for which zoneinfo data is available?
(In reply to comment #4) > I can confirm this bug, it is very annoying Vote for it instead, that's more helpful to convince people to fix this.
An updated timezone database is planned. There will be a decision for Fremantle (either to include this or not, I really don't know about Nokia's decision here), hence setting Target Milestone.
It looks like this bug can be reproduced in Fremantle.
