SOFTWARE VERSION: PR1.2 - python 2.5

GENERAL INFORMATION:

In Reply to this Bug => https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10688
mini example => https://bugs.maemo.org/attachment.cgi?id=2980
license plate file => https://bugs.maemo.org/attachment.cgi?id=2981

The example and the licenseplate file have to be in the same directory.

PROBLEM:

* when i type two characters one after an other the hildon searchfield will
popup
* the characters change to the second meaning on the keyboard after the input
(german keyboard Q will be 1 or G will be - for example)

That means if i type fast LB => The L will be shown in my entryfield, the B
will be shown in the hildon textfield. After a very short period the L change
to : and my application show => No matches found.

When i have changed the line:

self.entry.connect('changed', self.search, self.entry)

into:

self.entry.connect('activate', self.search, self.entry)

i can type the searchword into the field and search for it without any changes
to the entry field.

The problem with the hildon searchbar countinue to exists, but only when i type
fast.

REPRODUCIBILITY:
always

Perhaps anybody has an idea :)

with kind regards

Patrick
