Description Anton Rebhan (reporter) 2010-05-30 01:08:26 UTC
SOFTWARE VERSION: PR 1.2

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:

1. Long-press on hardware keyboard in general produces the characters otherwise
obtained by composition with Fn (blue arrow) key
2. Long-press on "ü" of German keyboard (in XTerminal)
3. Long-press on "y" of German keyboard (in XTerminal)

EXPECTED OUTCOME: Same as with Fn key, namely ssharp for long-press on ü,
EuroSign for long-press on y.

ACTUAL OUTCOME: Long-press on "ü" as well as on "y" gives unprintable character

REPRODUCIBILITY: always (in XTerminal)

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: N/A

OTHER COMMENTS: Surprisingly, long-press on ü and y is equivalent to Fn-ü and
Fn-y in several applications. But in XTerminal or in applications run through
XTerminal, different characters are produced in these two cases.
