For command line apps, exact steps to reproduce means the commands used and such... For instance, options like -b or -R request a reboot so you'd want to not have those in order to not trigger bootup.

PR1.2 introduced a new method to reflash the eMMC. The FIASCO image should be flashed first, then without booting up in between the eMMC image has to be flashed. Step by step instructions here, http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_firmware#Flashing_the_eMMC_in_the_N900 Please try to reflash the eMMC using the updated instructions, and as stated, do not use the -R parameter when flashing the FIASCO image.
I did it by new instructios and no luck. I am using XP SP2 so I am waiting for SP3 to be downloaded (recently installed dual boot xp because of firewire) and after that I can confirm if not having SP3 was the reason of failure.
saadgadit: Please provide the exact error output, exact steps, and the exact operating system that you use.
Reflashing worked perfectly with Win XP SP3 second ago. So with me the issue was XP SP2 obivously.
saadgadit1984 it seems that you are on Windows XP too, can you try updating and see if this still happens?
Closing as there was no feedback from the reporter.
