Description Dan Klaffenbach (reporter) 2010-05-23 20:50:18 UTC
SOFTWARE VERSION:
(Settings > General > About product)
3.2010.02-8

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
(Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message
Connection Failed appears))
1. Enable automatic rotation in telephone app
2. Lock the screen, put the phone into your poket :)
3. Phone is ringing in landscape mode (incoming call)
4. Rotate phone before accepting the call
5. Screen turns black -> cannot accept the phone call (you need to use the lock
switch on the bottom of the phone twice, to make the "Incoming call" dialog
re-appear on the screen).

A very similar problem also occurs when making a phone call - this is very
likely related to this bug:
1. Tap a contact widget on the desktop
2. Tap the contacts phone number
3. Rotate phone - all controls disappear and the screen turns black (the call
starts, though)

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
1. Enable automatic rotation in telephone app
2. Lock the screen, put the phone into your poket :)
3. Phone is ringing in landscape mode (incoming call)
4. Rotate phone before accepting the call
5. UI rotates
6. Tap "Accept call"

REPRODUCIBILITY:
50% of the times.

It only happens after using the phone for a while (Web Browser, Media Player,
FM-Transmitter).

EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
NO extras-testing, NO extras-devel - only stable

Hi,

I wonder if this another case of bug 7772 or something different. Probably best
to retest once the next public update is out (which should be in this week).
Comment 2 Dan Klaffenbach (reporter) 2010-05-26 17:31:37 UTC
I'd say it is a duplicate. I'll report back if this is still an issue with PR
1.2.
