Skype doesn't use network connection proxy settings

SOFTWARE VERSION: 3.2010.02-8 EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM: 1. Add a skype IM account 2. Go to settings, network connections, Connections, edit one of the connections, use a working proxy 3. Set availability to Online or Busy to let skype connect EXPECTED OUTCOME: It connects and shows the online contacts. ACTUAL OUTCOME: It doesn't connect due to proxy settings of network connection not used. REPRODUCIBILITY: always EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: Irrelevant OTHER COMMENTS: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.342.9 Safari/533.2
Did you use other connections before? I imagine that this is a duplicate of bug 9396...
No. This is not a duplicate of bug 9396. Bug 9396 is the other way around anyway: proxy to non-proxy. Yes, I use other connections indeed. Skype works on the ones without proxies, and doesn't work on the one with proxy. Well, you could try setting up a proxy to reproduce it :-)
Bug confirmed, it's one of the most annoying defects of the device. It was present in PR 1.1, it is still there in PR 1.2.

Now that I have a proxy to test, it looks like this bug is fixed in PR1.2 for me.
I'm using PR 1.3 and Skype can't connect through my proxy (proxy.unina.it). I configured the proxy with default configuration panel and I can connect only through microb browser.
