Summary: Loading page from RSS item results in different rendering in Browser
Product: [Maemo Official Applications] RSS feed reader Reporter: Rafe Blandford <rafe>

Severity: normal

OS: Maemo

Description Rafe Blandford (reporter) 2009-10-18 22:59:31 UTC
SOFTWARE VERSION:
1.2009.41-10

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
Add specific RSS feed to reader -
http://rss.allaboutmaemo.com/aam-feed-summary.xml

Refresh feed - click on any news item to load story in website (either from RSS
application or from desktop widget).

Website appears, but is rendered incorrectly (white space down left hand side
of screen). There can also be extraneous scrolling.

If the same page is loaded directly in the browser (e.g.
http://www.allaboutmaemo.com/news/item/10615_All_About_Maemo_Podcast_1.php)
then the page is rendered correctly (no white space). Above page validates in
W3.org validator.

Not sure whether this is a Web of RSS bug (or maybe a problem with the web
page)?

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Web page should render, when loaded from RSS application, the same as if done
directly in web browser.

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
Web page renders incorrectly.

REPRODUCIBILITY:
Always
