Need to ask, but at least we know that libcanberra will be available in
Fremantle since it somces to replace esound:

This bug might replace # 3077.
Comment 5 Quim Gil nokia 2009-03-16 08:06:38 UTC
Right, so we have two things:

- The possibility to create & install new sound schemes replacing the one being
shipped by default. This request. freedesktop.org supports this feature and is
both applied in GNOME and KDE. The request makes sense. Roope, any opinion?

- The possibility modify each of the system sounds and replace it via GUI file
upload. This is Bug 3077 and I think it's better to treat them separately.
Again, GNOME (and KDE? I guess so) allow users to do so and I imagine Maemo
users having fun with this (as long as there is a big "restore factory
settings" option available). ;) But I think it's worth treating them

The scope of bugs.maemo.org are bugs and only very specific and no-brainer
enhancement requests. This report contains a feature request that is too
generic for bugs.maemo.org. Please post this problem and propose your
solution in Maemo Brainstorm instead:
