Will there be another OS release for the N800 and N810?
There are no plans for another official OS release for N800 and N810 devices. The next OS release (Fremantle) will require a variety of hardware features and capabilities which are not available on OMAP2-based devices. However, Mer is being created (with the help of Nokia) as an upgrade path for current device owners that will bring as many Fremantle technologies and features to existing devices as possible.
